So on instagram, there’s this thing called “Throwback Thursdays” where you upload an old photo.

I decided I’d upload something too, so I started looking through some old photos to find a suitable upload.

It made me realise how much life has changed within such a short period of time. How things change from one year to the next.

How many close “friends” have I lost for one reason or another? I really miss how simple life used to be. How much fun we all had, and memories to forever cherish.

Maybe it’s just me not wanting to fully grow up, or accept the adult world, but what can I say (or do, for that matter)?

Today has been a pretty dull day for me. Perhaps I’m just lacking sleep at the moment, I dunno. But just feeling so plain today. Moody me. Bleh ~

Warning: Cringey post. Do not read if you’re gonna hate.

First met on 02/07/12 at a friend’s joint birthday meal/ pre-drinks, Manchester.
Who knew that we’d be together months down the line; especially after his first words to me! :P

We changed from “Friendship” to “Relationship”, a risky decision made together. I was always worried that I’d lose a close friend if anything bad was to happen, and I halted at the fact it would be “long distance”. But he never gave up, and even travelled 3/4 hrs to prove his point.

One of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

It just goes to show that relationships CAN develop from friendship, and relationships CAN work out despite the distance.
“We’re a strong bridge”.

I’m glad we already had a solid friendship foundation to build from. And the fact that we’ve been speaking (pretty much) every day since we met means that I already know him well. Trust, as well as communication is key to any relationship.

Starting 2013 with a happy and positive attitude. Hoping to share many more moments with you.

It sucks when someone you thought you knew so well, turns into somebody completely new. It’s like, they’re not even the same person anymore. How can such a short period of time change someone so much?

Ahh well, “life goes on”.
